Bill Krohn&amp;#39;s &lt;i&gt;Hitchcock at Work&lt;/i&gt; is *indispensable*. In fact when you did the last piece I thought of mentioning it myself but wasn&amp;#39;t sure if you counted it as like an expanded BFI book or not. I don&amp;#39;t know if we mentioned this one or not, but I would have put Donald Spoto&amp;#39;s book on Hitchock&amp;#39;s movies in the list as well; that was the first book of film criticism I read.
