A little bit Sub-genius founder Bob Dobbs (sans pipe) crossed with Joan Crawford and a little bit freaky as hell, this demon was sighted last night during an otherwise routine screening of Hitchcock's STRANGERS ON A TRAIN (1951). Has anyone noticed this uncanny vision before? Is it just a trick of the blinds and dissolve? I was so scared I near about had to pause and snap this photo of the screen for your agape amusement.

Very weird. Especially since Ruth Roman is otherwise stone-faced throughout most ofthe picture. Her demonic grimace is creepy.
Bravo on the image -- new to me, even though I've seen the picture more than a dozen times.
Almost as scary as the dissolve at the end of Psycho.
thanks, Flickhead, and yeah, I've seen the movie dozens of times myself and this was the first noticing it... and it wasn't the "new" pre-release version either, so it's not like it was cut out...
Jesus, that's creepy. Jerry, I actually think it's even SCARIER than the end of "Psycho"...this is BOB from Twin Peaks-grade intimidation.
Interesting...seems like a near-subliminal kind of visage, sort of like what Friedkin experimented with in his thrillers.
