God bless you for this post. We can never write or read enough about this amazing chick, one of the few who truly walks it like they talk it. You can read my gushing and wavy feminist deconstruction of SCARLET DIVA here. She read it and said I "got" her message, so don't think I'm "stretching" my points, either, which there's some been sayin' I does, but as Lillian Gish said in NIGHT OF THE HUNTER, "God bless little children; they abide... they abide."
