John Travolta (Grease) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Grease II) have joined the cast of the film musical version of John Waters' Hairspray. Ms. Pfeiffer will be playing the role of Velma Von Tussel, the part played by Debbie Harry in Waters' original version.
And who will be playing Edna Turnblad, the drag role originally performed by the divine Divine? Why Mr. Travolta, of course!
